What started as a phrase has become a standard.
A reminder of what this journey demands…
and what it gives back when we decide to show up for it.
We often hear John Madsen say the phrase “Go get what’s yours.”
But on occasion, he adds a word that changes everything.
Now.
In my opinion, now is the moment where excuses die and decisions are made.
It removes the hiding places.
It strips away delay.
It forces clarity.
Although versions of this phrase have existed for years across sports, the military, business, and performance culture, what John did was turn it into a standard inside Supra Human.
And this dynamic itself isn’t unique.
It shows up anywhere effort, discipline, and consistency are required.
In any group of people:
A handful truly live it.
A larger group really wants it.
And far too many are comfortable watching and overthinking.
Supra Human is no different.
Some embody the words.
Some want what they represent, but haven’t fully committed.
And others repeat them because they’ve become part of the culture, without stepping into what they actually demand.
At the core, the difference isn’t capability or circumstance.
It’s whether we embody it, want it, or quietly avoid what it asks of us.
This wasn’t written for the people who already live this standard. They don’t need the explanation.
It’s for those of us who say the words easily, without realizing what they actually demand.
Because this phrase isn’t something we repeat to sound aligned.
It’s something we earn by how we show up.
I know the feeling that comes with hearing or saying:
💥 Now… Go Get What’s Yours 💥
Here’s what the phrase has come to represent to me.
👇
NOW → Decision
Means we stop waiting.
Not tomorrow.
Not when things settle down.
Not when we feel more ready.
Now is the decision point.
The line between hoping and doing.
The moment we stop negotiating and choose movement.
We don’t need applause.
We don’t need permission.
We move forward, because action is the only language progress understands.
Waiting for the perfect time is standing still and expecting someone else to push us forward.
The longer we stall, the further we drift from the life that’s been waiting for us.
That’s what now really means.
A decision.
GO GET → Action, Repeated
Means move.
Not once.
Not when it’s convenient.
But again and again, especially when comfort is pulling us the other way.
It means we stop negotiating with ourselves about when we’ll start and take the first step… then the next.
Even while doubt is still loud.
Because talk doesn’t change anything.
Action does.
No one is coming to hand us the results, the body, or the life we keep saying we want.
There are no shortcuts.
We earn it through reps.
Through consistency.
Through choosing motion when comfort is the easier option.
In my opinion, “go get” is the part that’s earned,
not because someone gives us permission to say it,
but because action becomes our default response.
When we keep showing up without applause,
when no one’s watching,
when proof stacks quietly over time.
THE SHIFT → Internal Change Over Time
This is what action creates.
This is about keeping our word to the one person we can’t escape… ourselves.
When we do that consistently, something internal locks in.
It’s the quiet click of a deadbolt.
No exits. No escape hatches.
Just a decision to stay until the work is done.
Self-trust replaces hesitation.
Clarity replaces doubt.
We stop breaking the promises no one else hears.
And the moment we start keeping them, even when the easier path is right there, everything shifts.
That’s when belief stops being something we hope for
and becomes something we are.
WHAT’S YOURS → Outcome
That’s what we’re after.
The life we were built for.
The peace that comes from knowing we’re walking in alignment.
The body that reflects the discipline we’ve earned.
The strength that isn’t just muscle,
it’s character, resilience, and self-respect.
The fire reminding us who the fuck we are.
Especially when life tries to make us forget.
It’s been there all along.
Waiting for us to stop apologizing for wanting more.
To stop shrinking in order to fit spaces we’ve outgrown.
To stop dimming our light, just to make others comfortable.
We don’t need to go find that version of ourselves.
It was never lost.
We just need to strip away the layers and step into what we’re capable of.
THE REMINDER → Standard Reinforcement
This isn’t just about hype.
It’s a reminder.
We’ve already got everything we need.
It’s just buried under a mountain of comfort and excuses.
So when we say Now Go Get What’s Yours,
we’re not shouting a slogan just because it sounds cool or because we want to fit in.
We say it because we’ve lived it.
Because we’re earning the right to.
Because we’re choosing alignment over excuses.
Because we’re becoming who we were built to be.
If we’re going to say it, we owe it to ourselves to live it… or at least be in the process of earning it.
If we’re not living it or actively earning it, the words don’t belong in our mouths yet.
Every one of us has something waiting to be claimed.
But it won’t wait forever.
Now…
Let’s fucking own it.
In short, that’s what this phrase, made up of just a few simple words, means to me.
What does it mean to you?
