This reflection simply captures what this journey has taught me and what Iāve seen it awaken in so many of us along the way. Itās a reflection of how powerful change can be when we stop chasing time and start living with purpose.
As a husband of 28 years and a father, the impact of this change has reached far beyond me. Itās found its way into our home and started shaping the lives of the people I love most.
I donāt and canāt look back and wonder what if, because unfortunately, I donāt have the power to change the past. But I do wish my wife and kids could have experienced this version of me for longer.
My daughter (24) and oldest son (21) didnāt get to grow up with this version of me, but my youngest (11) will. Heāll get to see and live this change alongside me through the rest of his childhood and that, to me, is one of the greatest gifts this transformation has given.
The chance to lead by example, not just in what I say, but in how I live.
And that growth hasnāt only changed how I show up for my kids, itās changed how I show up in my marriage. The other night, while having dinner with my wife, I felt the need to apologize, not for something Iād done wrong, but for something Iād only just come to understand.
I told her that for so long, I hadnāt been able to fully appreciate the love sheās always given me, because until now, I didnāt truly love myself enough to allow others to love me or to believe I was worthy of that love.
That realization hit hard, but it also filled me with gratitude. Because now, I can finally accept the love thatās been there all along.
I also know that change like this can be hard. Not everyone around us is ready for the shifts that happen when we start showing up differently… physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Sometimes it challenges relationships before it strengthens them, and sometimes it changes them altogether, in ways that can’t always be repaired.
Our circles may grow smaller. Certain friendships may fade. Even relationships we once thought unshakable can be tested when growth enters the picture.
When we change, we also have to be prepared to give others time to adjust to the new version of who we are. For years, theyāve been conditioned to the person we used to be, with how we acted, reacted, and showed up. It takes patience and consistency to let them see, over time, that the change is real. Eventually, theyāll feel it too.
And while that can feel lonely at times, itās part of the process. Some people will grow with us, others may not. But thatās okay. Growth naturally creates distance before it creates alignment.
Because when we grow, we begin to attract whatās meant for who weāre becoming, not who we were.
My wish is that everyone gets the chance to experience this, to feel what itās like to live with energy, clarity, and purpose again. Because when we change ourselves, everything and everyone around us begins to change too.
I canāt thank the entire Supra Human team enough for creating something thatās not just a fitness program, but a movement that truly transforms lives.
I know many of you here are already living this, walking your own path of discipline, growth, and transformation, so this might just reaffirm what we already know deep down.
But if it reminds you of someone whoās been searching for change, or trying to find their direction again, Iād be grateful if you shared this with them.
Sometimes, all it takes is reading someone elseās story, one that feels familiar, to see whatās possible and to believe again that change is possible.
That reflection captures what this journey has meant to me.
Every transformation has a beginning, a moment when everything changes.
This is where mine began.
āYou can have a thousand problems in life⦠but if your health fails, you only have one.ā
That line stuck with me, because itās true.
šø Expensive Is Relative
Weāve all seen the posts and comments online saying that the Supra Human fitness program is expensive, maybe even questioning whether itās really worth it.
And on the surface, that might seem fair.
But hereās the reality: expensive is relative.
Some of us will spend $7ā10K on a vacation that lasts a week or two but hesitate to invest in something that could transform the next 20, 30, even 40 years of our lives.
Weāll spend thousands on what entertains us for a moment but think twice about investing in something that could extend our life.
I know, because I was toeing that line once too. That line that, on the other side, held the one problem big enough to dwarf all the others.
I thought I was āin decent shapeā, until the numbers proved otherwise.
On the outside, with clothes on, I looked fine. But inside, my bloodwork said otherwise.
ā ļø The Wake-Up Call
My blood pressure was climbing. My cholesterol was high. My liver enzymes were elevated. My glucose and triglycerides were creeping toward the danger zone, the early signs of insulin resistance. My doctor even mentioned the words fatty liver and prediabetes.
That was the kind of conversation that makes you stop and really think.
The truth was, if I didnāt change, my body was headed toward a future filled with medications, fatigue, and regret.
Because if we neglect our health long enough, it will become that āone problemā that makes all the others fade away.
Thatās the price we all pay when we wait too long, thinking thereās always tomorrow. And in waiting for tomorrow to arrive, we donāt just lose health… we lose our energy, our time, and eventually the belief that we can get it back.
But here’s the good news…when belief turns into action, everything changes.
The numbers that follow arenāt just data, theyāre proof of what happens when belief meets discipline.
š Transformation in Motion
Earlier this year, shortly before I started Supra Human, I was at my all-time high weight of 187.9 pounds with 31.5% body fat. My energy was slipping, my health markers were trending in the wrong direction, and I could feel my body starting to slow down.
Fast-forward to today. Iām 53, but the numbers tell a different story, confirmed through my latest DEXA scan:
- Total Weight: 154.8 lb
- Body Fat: 11.5% ā top 1% for men in my age
- Visceral Fat: 66.5 cm2 ā top 1% for my age group
- Lean Muscle Mass: 128.3 lb ā elite range for my size and age
- Bone Density ā 1.205 g/cm2 ā stronger than ever
Even more telling, my latest bloodwork now mirrors how I feel. Cholesterol, glucose, triglycerides, liver enzymes, and A1C, all back in healthy range.
Every marker that once pointed toward decline now signals vitality, strength, and longevity.
My effective biological age now reads like someone in their mid to late 30ās.
Thatās not luck and itās not genetics.
Those same issues run deep in my family.
But I made the decision to rewrite that story.
Thatās what happens when consistency compounds.
Those numbers donāt just represent change, they represent ownership.
š° The Real Investment
Yes, Supra Human requires a real investment: time, effort, discipline as well as a financial commitment up front.
But when we realize what weāre truly investing in… our health, longevity, and future quality of life, it stops feeling like a cost and starts feeling like freedom.
Freedom from fatigue, from limitations, from the quiet fear of decline that too many of us accept as normal.
Itās an investment that pays dividends in energy, confidence, and time.
At 53, the numbers tell the story:
- 31.5% ā 11.5% body fat
- 187.9 lb ā 154.8 lb
- Elite lean mass
- Top 1% visceral fat
- Above average bone density
- Biological age ā mid to late 30s
Age doesnāt define our limits.
Discipline does.
āļø Choose Your Hard
The truth is, at some point weāre going to pay either way.
We can pay now… to build strength, vitality, and longevity.
Or we can pay later… with medications, fatigue, and the weight of regret.
Both are hard.
One builds us.
The other breaks us.
At some point, we all choose our hard.
Whether through action or inaction, whether we realize it or not.
And thatās the moment we stand at the fork in the road.
One path will test us by demanding discipline.
The other breaks us by wasting our potential.
š§ The Fountain Isnāt Something You Buy
Weāve all searched for the fountain of youth at some point, chasing it through products, procedures, shortcuts, and promises.
But the truth is, itās not something we find on the outside. Itās something thatās always been within us,
waiting to be awakened through action, discipline, and belief.
š§ The fountain of youth isnāt something we buy, itās something we become. š§
Itās built through Movement.
It strengthens our heart, muscles, and bones.
It fills us with energy and vitality, keeping us strong, capable, and alive.
Itās forged through Nutrition.
Not through restriction, but through nourishment.
And letās be clear. Iām not talking about a diet, diets are temporary.
What Iām talking about is a way of living that sustains us.
Every meal is either harming us or healing us.
Processed foods drain our energy, inflame our body, and age us faster.
Real food repairs, fuels, and strengthens us from the inside out.
Itās sustained through Mindset.
Our thoughts dictate our actions, and our actions shape our future.
A strong body starts with a strong mind, one that chooses discipline over comfort.
Not just sometimes, but every single day.
Every rep, every step, every meal, every choice,
strengthens our present and shapes our future.
ā” The Truth About Value
Supra Human isnāt just a fitness program… itās a transformation.
Itās not about turning back time; itās about adding life to every year we have left.
Yes, it requires commitment, but what it gives back is as priceless as time itself.
At the start, I said expensive is relative, and it is.
Supra Human isnāt expensive.
Losing our health is.
Iāve found that the real fountain of youth lives inside us.
We just have to choose to look within and bring it to life.
At some point, weāve all seen it happen to people we love. We can have a thousand problems in life,
but if our health fails, we only have one.
So letās take a moment and look within.
Ask ourselves which path weāre walking… is it leading us closer to life, or further away from it.
Because at any point, we can choose differently.
We can choose to begin.
My name is Alex Bush, and I have found the fountain of youth.
I AM… SUPRA HUMAN
I decided to include these pictures because I know that sometimes, people need to see to believe. Words and stats can only say so much, and I understand how hard it can be to imagine this kind of change until you see it for yourself.
My hope is that by sharing them, someone whoās been doubting whatās possible, will start to believe again.
